About the producer:
"Caras de Colombia: Tolima" is the first edition of the Racafe project. Working with farmers from the remote village of Gaitania, collecting regional coffees and even packaging them in exclusive bags with the farmers faces on.

This village is located in the Planadas municipality in the department of Tolima and is surrounded by high mountains covered with extensive forests and coffee plantations. A large part of the Nevado del Huila volcano is located inside this geographic area, which is one of the purest, largest and most important water sources in Colombia because of its ice cap.

Products such as corn, beans and coffee are cultivated in the fertile soils of Gaitania. The latter is considered an excellent coffee bean due to the favourable agri-environmental conditions, the soils rich in minerals and the process carried out by coffee farmers during the production of the beans collected.
