Roast

Roasting is the process of heating green coffee beans to transform their chemical and physical properties. It develops the flavour, aroma, and colour, turning raw beans into the rich, complex coffee we brew.

  1. Light Roast
    Bright and delicate with pronounced acidity, highlighting the bean's origin and fruity notes.
  2. Light-Medium Roast
    Balanced and crisp, retaining origin character with a touch more body and sweetness.
  3. Medium Roast
    Smooth and rounded, offering a harmonious mix of sweetness, acidity, and mild roast tones.
  4. Medium-Dark Roast
    Full-bodied and rich, with deeper caramel flavours and a hint of roast bitterness.
  5. Dark Roast
    Bold and intense, with smoky, bitter-sweet notes and a heavy mouthfeel, overshadowing origin characteristics.
